Registration
Many of the features and functions available in Scopus are based on the user's personal preferences and, therefore, require a
one-time registration and a per-session login. The Register/Login box appears at the top of all pages within Scopus until you log
in.
- Complete the fields on the Registration/Activate User Account page as follows:
- Optional: Select the appropriate title from the Title drop-down menu.
- Required: Enter your name in the appropriate fields as follows:
- First Name: Enter your first name (given name) in this field, using upper and lower case characters as appropriate.
- Family Name: Enter your family name (surname) in this field, using upper and lower case characters as appropriate.
- Required: Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail Address field.
- Required: Select one or more Primary field of interest by clicking the box next to each subject.
- Required: Enter your password in the Password field.
- Required: Enter your password again in the Confirm Password field.
- Optional: Select the I wish to receive information... check box to receive e-mails about future updates, releases, or related products.
- Required: Click to review the Scopus Registered User Agreement link and then select the I have read and understand... check box.
- Optional: To enter additional information, click Optional Information and complete the resulting page.
- Click Submit to submit the information on this page.
OR
Click Cancel to return to the previous page without activating your Scopus login.
To review the privacy policy, click the Privacy Policy link located above the information fields.
