You can receive e-mail notices when new documents are loaded on Scopus that match a specific search query or that cite specific documents or authors.
From the My Alerts page, you can view the Latest Results for an alert, edit alerts, and delete alerts.
Note: Non-Scopus documents (abstracts available on platforms external to Scopus) and citations derived from Scopus references are not included in alerts.
The following kinds of alerts are available:
Search Alerts: Search alerts notify you by e-mail when new documents that match a specified search query are loaded on Scopus.
A Search Alert can be created from the Search History page, the Search Results page, and the My Profile page. Search alerts can also be saved from within the Saved Searches page, which is accessed from the My Profile page.
Document Citation Alerts: Document citation alerts notify you by e-mail when new documents are loaded on Scopus that cite a specific document.
A Document Citation Alert may be created from the Record page and the My Alerts page.
Author Citation Alerts: Author Citation alerts notify you by e-mail when an author or group of matched authors is cited on Scopus. An Author Citation Alert can be created from an Author Details page and from Author Cited By search results.
Tip: You can also have new citations for your Search or Document Citation Alert sent to you as an RSS feed.
