Login Page

If you have not logged into Scopus, you will not be able to access the My Alerts or the My Profile pages. You may conduct a Scopus Search or you may browse through Scopus journals, but in order to access additional information as a result of each, you must be logged into Scopus.

Logging In to Scopus

To log in to Scopus

Click Login or the + sign () to expand the login field.
In Username, enter your Scopus user name.

Your user name is case-sensitive.
In Password, enter your Scopus login password.

Your password is case-sensitive.

To be automatically logged in to Scopus on this computer, select Remember me on this computer.

You will be remembered for 90 days.

If you are using a public computer, choosing Remember me on this computer could allow other people to access Scopus using your login.

To prevent this, click the Logout link to end your Scopus session or do not use the Remember Me feature.

Note	You will no longer be remembered on this machine, if you: Delete the cookies on this machine. Click the Logout link. Change your password.

Click Go.

Once you are logged in, the page you were trying to access will display. A Log out link is available in the top right corner of the page. Clicking Log out ends your personal session.

Incorrect Login

If you enter your Scopus login incorrectly, Scopus will display a Login page with additional options.

In User Name, enter your user name.

Your user name is case-sensitive.
In Password, enter your Scopus login password.

Your password is case-sensitive.
Click Login.

Once you are logged in, the page you were trying to access appears. To log out and end your personal session, click the Log out at the top rof the page.

Logging In Using Your Athens ID

To log in to Scopus using your Athens® login, click Login Using Your Athens ID.

If you have forgotten your Athens user name and/or password, contact your librarian or your Athens administrator for assistance.

Retrieving Your Forgotten User Name or Password

Click Forgotten User Name Or Password.

OR

Click Forgotten password? in the Login box.

The Forgotten User Name Or Password page will display.
Enter your e-mail address exactly as it appears in your personal profile.

After you submit your e-mail address information, an e-mail containing your user name and password will be sent to you.
