Sources- Subject Area, Source Type, and Display

Return to Sources

You can narrow the list of Scopus sources by selecting a Subject Area, a Source Type, or if the source is subscribed or unsubscribed. Each source filter type works in conjunction with the alphabetical browse bar.

For Example   If you select Chemistry as a Subject Area, only sources within that subject will display in the list and be available from the alphabetical browse bar.

  1. From Select a Subject Area, select a subject area of interest. The default selection is All Subjects.

  2. From Source Type, select a source type. Available selections are:

  4. Click Go button to filter the source list based on your selections.

    Available source information will display below the alphabetical bar. The following icons indicate the type of source:

    Non-subscribed Non-Subscribed source Subscribed Subscribed source  
    Trade Publication Trade Publication Journal Journal  
    Conference Proceeding Conference Proceeding   Book Series Book Series
  5. To navigate through the filtered list, use the alphabetical browse bar.
