You can track how often articles (for example from a particular author or journal) have been cited using the Citation Tracker. You can run the Citation Tracker from the following Scopus pages:
The Citation Tracker displays the information you requested on the Citation Overview page .
| Note | You can include up to 5000 documents in a Citation Tracker. If you select more than 5000 documents only the first 5000 are included in the Citation Tracker. |
From a Scopus Results list, specify the document(s) you want to include in the Citation Tracker by using the following selection options:
Select individual check boxes on the left.
Click
to select all documents shown in the list.
Click
to select documents shown on the page of results you are currently
viewing.
Click a selected check box to add or remove that document from the selection.

The Citation Overview page appears.
OR
The Request Citation Tracker page appears if your Citation Tracker contains a large number of documents, will take a long time to process, or if JavaScript™ is disabled in your browser.

to generate an overview of the citations since 1996 for this author or group of authors.
The citation information appears on either the Citation Overview or the Request Citation Tracker page. You'll see the Request Citation Tracker page if your Citation Tracker contains a large number of documents, will take a long time to process, or if JavaScript™ is disabled in your browser.
Search for authors from the Basic, Author, or Advanced search forms.
On the Make Author Selection page, select the authors whose document citations you would like to track.

The Citation Overview page will display.

To view a Citation Overview for a source, click
next to the desired volume, issue, or year.
The citation information appears on either the Citation Overview or the Request Citation Tracker page. You'll see the Request Citation Tracker page if your Citation Tracker contains a large number of documents, will take a long time to process, or if JavaScript™ is disabled in your browser.
