Searching Using an Author Identifier

If you know the unique author identifier number for a particular author, you can search for that author using the AU-ID field in Advanced Search.

Tip   Unique author identifier numbers display at the top of an author search results list and on Author Details pages.

Searching for Co-Authors

You can find documents written by the most frequently occurring co-authors of a specific author from the Author Details page.

To find co-authors

  1. Run a search for the author of interest.

  2. Click Show details Details to open the Author Details page.

  3. Click the number in the Co-Author field.

    Scopus runs a search for authors cited with the current author.

Accented Characters

You can enter accented characters directly in a search field.

Example    You could enter öner or oner for your search. Searching for oner will return results for o as well as ö.
