Grouping Authors

Scopus Author Identifier matches authors based on information in documents. Some documents do not have sufficient information for the Author Identifier to accurately match them, even when they are written by the same author. To ensure that you are viewing a complete list of documents for an author, you can group authors together on an Author Details page.

When you group authors together, you can view the number of documents, track citations, create an h-graph, view co-authors, and print or e-mail details for both the author on the Author Details page and for all the grouped authors.

Saving Grouped Authors

You can save a group of authors in My Profile or create a temporary group for the current session. Saved author groups are stored under the author on the current Author Details page. Groups are listed on that Author Details page only.

For Example    From the J G Smith Author Details page, you could view a group of authors that included J Smith and G Smith. However, on the Author Details page for J Smith, the same group would not be available.
